Normal: It can take 6-13 months to get a period after being on depo proverb even when you start on a new birth control. In addition progesterone only birth control pills can occasionally cause someone to not have bleeding with menses. It would be a good idea to take pregnancy test just in case. If negative continue your birth control as prescribed
