What to do about severe menstual period pain and severe bleeding and is it normal?

Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen, such as advil (ibuprofen) or motrin, should help with the pain. Bleeding is likewise normal, however if you are becoming anemic, you might need a multivitamin and/or iron supplementation. See your physician for an exam and diagnosis.
