My specialist is having me switch to lmwh as soon as i conceive. is it better to do it earlier?

Guidelines: Recent accp guidelines suggest that switching to lmwh as soon as conception is detected is best. Most important is to get a pregnancy test as soon as period is missed and to see doctor right away to have anticoagulant switched. If you have concerns though, it wouldn't be unreasonable to talk with your doctor so that you're sure to understand his/her reasoning.
