Yes: If you are exposed to someone with active TB infection involving the lungs, then there is a risk for your inhaling the TB bug & getting infected. Once this infected person has received effective therapy for at least 2 months and is no longer sputum positive, the risk of transmission drops significantly. Other forms of TB (bone, lymph node etc.) not involving lungs are generally not contagious.
