See below: Mri is excellent looking at soft tissues such as brain, spinal cord, internal organs in chest and abdomen, and works via magnetic fluxes. Both cat and myelogram depend on radiation, the former provides screening of bones, sinuses, and the soft tissues above with far faster images, but less definition for smaller lesions. Myelogram images spinal canal by injection of dye, and is rarely used.
