What to do if i put my contact lenses on for the first time now when will the redness go away?

Soon: Redness should resolve within minutes of putting in the lens. If it persists longer than that, there may be issues with the fit of the lens or solutions. In that case you should discontinue lens wear and see your eye doctor.
