No: Sounds like your pimple has or is turning into a boil. This is a plugged skin follicle that can become infected. If not treated early enough a doctor might need to perform and incision and drainage which can lead to scarring. See your doctor asap......If it is the weekend, you might need to see an urgent care doctor.
