Not usually: Thrush is a fungal infection and common cold is caused by a viruses. There is usually no link between the two. Only connection i can think of would be if you are taking antibiotics , ( which you should not be for a common cold) it may cause thrush.

Possible: As a pediatrician I will assume we are talking about a young infant. A cold is a viral infection. Thrush is a fungal infection in the mouth. IF the thrush is severe it can cause nasal congestion/runny nose. There are treatments for thrush but not colds. Make sure to use a cool mist humidifier during the night to help reduce nasal congestion. Avoid cough/cong meds. See your MD for thrush treatment.
