Vertigo: There are several causes of vertigo and evaluation by your doctor is needed. The most common (called benign positional vertigo) can be treated by maneuvers called the epley or semont modified maneuvers. Some causes are related to chronic diseases like meniere's disease or rarely tumors. Acute infections sometimes acuse this too, but it should be evaluated by a healthcare provider.
