It may be inflammed.: See if this helps. Pour boiling water over thinly sliced organic ginger. Steep for at least five minutes in a covered pot. Add 2 to 3 tbs of honey & sip.

Lack of saliva: Our mouths become dry when the 3 salivary glands stop secreting. The cause varies from medications, over closed bites(tmj) and any overactivation of your sympathetic nervous system(stress).

Lack of good hydration; that is drinking enough water to keep the urine almost clear in color will also keep the saliva functioning better. 8+ cups daily is a good minimum.

Dry throat: Hello. Dry mouth and dry throat can come from a number of causes. Side effects from medication is a common cause. In the winter months we evaporate more moisture from our airway. Remedies would be to drink more water, use a humidifier and mist your nose with a saline spray. Finally a condition called sjogren's disease could also cause this. Check with your doctor.

Mouth open!?: Do you sleep with your mouth open? Also do you drool at night? This signs have been associated with obstructive sleep apnea? So how is your sleep? It is not a problem, but i would make sure you keep your dental visits regularly (dry mouth can increase the risk of dental carries).
