You shouldn't: Alcohol is bad for the body's healing mechanisms, including the ability of certain white blood cells to find, capture and digest bacteria, and for the ability of certain other white blood cells to make antibodies to protect us. So, using it when you are infected is generally not advised. In addition, alcohol has lots of drug interactions which may impair the ability of antibiotics to work.
