Yes: The pill will only work if taken as prescribed. I tell my patients to pick a 6 hour window, like, 6 am to noon, noon to 6, or 6 pm to midnight. Be consistent, set your phone alarm, whatever you need. But if you dont take them every day, they wont work. Another good option is a skyla iud, or nuvaring. Talk to your doctor.
