Fetal growth: Growth is measured by the four main ultrasound parameters: head circumference, biparietal diameter, abdominal circumference, and femur length. These measurements cannot be done until at least the second trimester. Lagging growth or overgrowth is not typically measured until even later in the pregnancy.
