UTI vs STD: Did the doctor do a urinalysis and urine culture for bacteria.Did you have unprotected sex with someone you may have contacted std.These questions need to be asked.You have to ask your doctor what the tests show and what kind of infection you hav, he/she is treating you for.It seems you either have a baterial UTI or std like chlamydia or gonorrhea if you have had unprotected sex with a partner.
