Hm...: Measles usually leaves no consequences, but in some children it may lead to either acute or chronic (slowly developing) encephalitis that can be a cause of dystonia.

Perhaps: There has been much speculation concerning childhood infections and even childhood immunizations. As you are aware, immunizations cause you to have a form of the illness in order to develop immunity. There is speculation that ms may result from childhood measles. Certainly dystonia and chorea can result from strep infections and may also result from certain viral infections that leave damage.
