A member asked:

Hi there, i have ruptured my acl and have a tear in my meniscus. i was wondering should my leg stiffen right up between rehab exercises? thanks

Listen to your body: When muscles become stiff following exercise they usually are too stressed. The injury may be putting more of a strain on muscles not previously used . Topical magnesium oil on stiff muscles can help them relax. Doing shorter sessions can help. Learn the routines taught in rehab and do 10 minutes 4-6 times a day every day to rebuild muscles. Avoid inflammatory foods.
