14dys before cycle: If you are a regular 21dy cycler then you likely ovulate on day 7-8. This is 14dys prior to your bleeding time. You can download an app that will help calculate it for you. My favorite is pinkpad but there is also mydays which was my previous favorite. Also temperature monitoring or ovulation kits can help you clarify ovulation time.

7th-9th day: If a woman does not get pregnant when she ovulates then her period almost always begins 12-14 days after ovulation which means you ovulate on the 7th-9th day after your period starts if you are having a typical cycle.
