Not likely : It is not likely that strech marks will burst and you should not worry about it. You saw your doctor and he/she told you you are fine.If the pain persist follow up with your doctor.

Sounds Benign: Your description does suggest a stretch mark which is benign. A clue is that it will not just go away on its own. The pain in your right side may be more internal. If it is persisting then f/u with your doctor. An u/s may be helpful or other further eval.
