Get it checked: You have sore throat for a week and now you see red looking, what you describe blisters.It is there for a week and still there.You should consult your physician to find out what it is, it may be strep infection and you may need antibiotics.

Tonsillopharyngitis: Without seeing the blisters it would be difficult to determine the probable causes but the most common condition like the above descriptions is pharyngitis and tonsillitis with exudates, which are abscesses of the tonsillar crypts. Try gargle warm salt water a few times a day to clean your throat. If you have fever, difficulty or pain when swallowing, you should see a doctor.
