Peeling lips: There are several reasons to have peeling lips. Irritation or allergy from lip balms or lipstick is common. Avoid these products until resolved. 1% Hydrocortisone ointment two to four times daily often works within 7 to 10 days. If not, seek medical attention. Precancerous and cancers can cause localized scaling.
