No: It's not normal to have throbbing headache when you stand up, but it is unclear from your presentation what causes it. Either relate more history or see a doc locally.

Normal=Common: No: While not normal, it is behavior, not optimal, not extremely rare, yet not necessarily serious, at least in the short term, also clearly not healthy. Symptoms c/w vascular/migraine ha, especially if pulse in sync with the ha throb. There are several ways to improve, though would avoid most meds, a few might help a little. Best seek: mechanism of ha, address your internal controls & excellent help.
