Pain in navel: There are two major probabilities for navel pain during pregnancy and a few less likely causes. You had a recent laparoscopy and scar tissue formed. Scars harden and contract. They are less elastic than regular tissue. When stretched, it can cause pain. Number two is the possibility of an umbilical hernia. Neither is dangerous to you or the baby.
