A member asked:

Still birth results were all neg expect baby had herpes in lungs is it possible to have a healthy baby and what exactly is herpes how would he have it?

Confusing question: I consider herpes in the lung a reason for a stillbirth.A primary (first time) herpes infection is known to cross the placenta and cause stillbirth during early pregnancy. You may not know when or how you were infected. Secondary outbreaks often have painful genital lesions. These can be surpressed with meds. Healthy pregnancies are possible in future if you follow the guidelines of your ob.
