Not much interaction: The extract of taraxicum officinale root in rodent studies is shown to be an inhibitor of the cytochrome p450 1a2 enzyme, and this is distinct from the 2d6 enzyme that fluoxetine inhibits. This would imply that the consuming dandelion root extract would not markedly change the metabolism of fluoxetine although it may slow down the metabolism of fluoxetine very slightly because 1a2 may contribute.
