I'm just wondering, if you quit smoking, does your libido go through the roof?

Not usually: Quitting smoking often leads to agitation, irrtability, insomnia, anxiety and restlessness. If you are taking Chantix to quit smoking, make sure you are not taking something else by mistake. Viagra (sildenafil) tablets are blue. My guess is you are just so pleased with yourself for ending a nasty addiction your body is celebrating the the event. Bravo.

Maybe: This may be another health reason to quit smoking. The compounds contained in cigarette smoke can block peripheral conversion of sex hormones, specifically estrogens. Sex hormones, of course, effect a woman's libido. I'm not sure libido would go through the roof, but theoretically it should improve with smoking cessation.
