Neck stiffness: It is difficult to determine online what the causes can be. If you have severe discomfort for more than six months, it is probably worthwhile to have it checked out by a good physician. Imaging studies might be helpful, as well as a good physical exam. Seeing an orthopedic spine surgeon might be appropriate, especially if nonoperative treatment and medications thus far have failed. Good luck!
