Many pillow promises: I have degenerative changes in my neck. Different things are going to work for different people. Learning to sleep on your back is the best thing to do. I was a stomach sleeper and had to learn back/side sleeping. Then you need o find a pillow that fits your body to keep your neck straight at night. I use a memory foam neck pillow, but your needs will depend on your body.
