Yes!: Very early childhood memories are the stuff of romance novels, etc; not all of us have them. People who have suffered major psychological trauma in childhood (eg abuse, rape etc) often do not remember the events in their conscious mind, but it is not true that failure to remember means there was a traumatic event.
