Significant: There are many long term effects of sexual molestation. Most suffer from complex post traumatic stress disorder and associated mental health issues. Cognitive behavioral therapy is indicated & may involve a long term commitment. This can affect all of the molested person's relationships for long periods of time, perhaps lifelong.
