Biting Lips: A couple ways: 1) mind over matter. If is a conscious habit; practice different techniques that keep you from biting. Keeping your lips closed prevents the teeth from biting. 2) soft occlusal guards will help with slightly opening your bite and subsequently reducing trauma. It will provide a barrier between your teeth and lips that should prevent you from biting them especially at night.
