Likely Anxiety d/o: Being 'freaked out' at night and unable to sleep are symptoms commonly associated with anxiety disorders, which have various possible causes. Most importantly, seek cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety management and psychiatric medication evaluation for management of the insomnia, and anxiety if indicated in addition to cbt. Sleep is medicine, so make sure you treat until you sleep well!
