my cystic fibrosis daughter wants rabbits. is it safe to have pets like that around?

Caution advised: Rabbits are generally safe as pets, but they can sometimes get infected with pseudomonas or bordetella or staph aureus - infectious organisms that are of significant concern for CF patients.
