What will you eat&drink after you've had a cavity filling?

Follow instructions: Usually the same things as you ate and drank before. If there are any time restrictions and\or special precautions, your own dentist should have discussed that with you. If not, call the office just to make sure.

Your normal diet: Once the anesthesia, novacaine haas worn off you can eat normally. Composite restorations, white fillings are completely set when yuo leave the office. The only exception is if you have had a silver amalgam placed then you need to wait until it has hardened which takes about a day.
