Yes heart attack: You want to know if a previous heart attack can cause another heart attack. You are correct. Your cardiologist will need to follow you after the first heart attack. Patient who have surgery or stenting of coronary arteries do better with complete revascularization. Those patients that do not are at risk for future heart attacks. Heart problems: Young women age 26 very rarely have heart attacks. Heart ailments can exist in young women as congenital malformations or associated with other diseases such as endocarditis or lupus or rheumatic fever as a child.
