Most definitely: All drugs of abuse have their effect by changing our brain chemistry. Pot is no different. Brain chemistry is the root of physical dependence (addiction). There are no "safe" drugs, & the myth that pot is not addictive is just that - a myth. Yes: There are those who become addicted to cannabis. I believe the incidence of those who are addicted to cannabis to be a much higher number than one would expect. Especially due to the false belief that cannabis is safe to use.
