Sunburn: Cooling off the burn can help at first with cool compresses using ice and cold water. Over the counter Hydrocortisone or prescription creams can help. Taking oral Ibuprofen pills can help reduce the inflammation and offer fast relief. If there are actual blisters, you need to watch for infection.
