However, you should consult with your gynecologist as ovarian function tends to slowly decrease after 30. Other factors such as your current health, smoking and obesity need to be assessed as well. Seek consultation even if you are not considering conceiving anytime soon, .

Not really: Mom was 42 when baby sis was born & she was her favorite. Age buy itself increases some issues but not substantially.All pregnancies have ~4% risk of unexpected outcome (premi,sick,defect,etc) while being ~40 adds 1% to that overall risk. Many women have delayed having kids until later, so you are notalone.
