Proctalgia fugax?: Can't be for sure, but this could be: proctalgia fugax (or levator syndrome, also known as anal cold) is a severe, episodic, rectal and sacrococcygeal pain. It can be caused by cramp of the pubococcygeus or levator ani muscles--the mucles on the floor of your butt/rectum. I would advised checking with your doc to make sure no other illness. Treatment is few, but may help. Good luck.
