Hallucinations: There are specific types of hallucinations that can occur right as you are falling asleep & right as you are waking up. It could fall into that category. However, if you have a sleep disorder & bipolar disorder - to go without treatment is very risky for your health.

Hearing Voices: Consult with a clinical psychologist to help you understand the origin of these voices and to see if you can obtain help controlling these disturbing thoughts without medication. He or she will help you decide if and when medication is needed if at all. Sorry to hear you are so troubled. My best.
