?: I'm a little confused because pacemakers do not go through the neck - they enter the heart through either the l or r subclavian veins which are in the shoulders. Anyway, if it's hurting, extraction should be considered. There are specialized centers that do this. Ohio state is one of them. There may be one closer to you in florida.

Not sure: Pacemaker leads are located in veins of the upper chest, not in the neck arteries. Not sure if you have a different wire that lodged in the neck due to trauma/injury? The fidelis lead was recalled for "lead fractures" resulting in dysfunction of pacemaker/defibrillators. You should have your fidelis lead extracted with new lead placement after the fracture.
