Test & see: Some people do get palpitations from chronic antihistamine use. Try stopping the zyrtec (cetirizine) for 3 days, with everything else as close to identical as you can make it and see if palpitations disappear. If so, they are related. Perhaps you could achieve eczema benefit with 1/2 tablet or with every-other-day dosing of zyrtec (cetirizine)?

Zyrtec (cetirizine): If you are taking plain zyrtec (cetirizine), (cetirizine) it should not be the problem, if you are taking zyrtec (cetirizine) d that has a decongestant, it can cause palpitations.
