Puberty: Boys will often get some growth underneath her nipple during puberty. This usually lasts a couple of months when goes away. Sometimes it occurs in both breasts at the same time, sometimes only one breast, sometimes in one breast and then in the other. Sometimes it's painful and Motrin will help. If it lasts more than 3 months you may want to have him see the doctor for a recheck.

Not to worry: Men normally have a small amount of estrogen. At puberty, it rises to only three times the level it was before.Teenage boys sometimes notice their breasts enlarging and /or tender.Nothing to worry about.Happens to half of all boys at some time.Breasts may get quite large at13-14, smaller by mid-to-late teens, usually flattened out by age 18/ 19.Above 15, testosterone are at a more steady, high levels.
