For nearly a year i've had regular stabbing pain behind my eye which leads to a headache. i had my eyes checked and are fine. is this a migraine?

Eye pain: Possibly migraine or cluster headache. You could try excedrin migraine to see if this helps. If the problem persists or worsens, call your primary doctor or ask to see a neurologist. Intermittent angle closure can also cause eye pain.

Sinusitis: In my practice of over 30 years the most common cause of these symptoms and socket pain has been chronic sinusitis a ct scan of sinuses and ENT consult is first thing i would do.
