Blood clot (DVT): Generally a leg blood clot (dvt), pain is commonly felt in the calf area with swelling and redness. If pain is in the shin, anterior leg, it's not likely from a blood clot. If you're concerned about a blood clot, go to the emergency department as it could be deadly. However at your age and gender, it's unlikely.
