Evaluation : What you describe sounds serious. Clearly, there is more information needed to make a diagnosis. Beyond just digging into the details of what you describe, your dad needs a good exam. Based on the history and exam, lab tests or maybe x-rays or scans may be appropriate. I'd strongly recommend having him seen soon so that treatment can get started.
