Post-injection pain: Its not uncommon to experience pain lasting for 1-2 days after this type of injection (steroid flare reaction). In a small group of patient the pain can last for up to a week. Injecting too high of a volume into a bursa is another explanation. Infection is possible but less likely if not worsening and no signs of infection (fever, redness, warmth, etc.). Icing & nsaids may help. Notify your doctor.

AC joint: It is not normal. You should have your doctor examine the area of injection to exclude infection, steroid induced inflammation which can be seen on occasion etc. To name a few.
