Yes, with caution: Of course there's a lot of women for whom 'nesting' in pregnancy means some interior decorating! no studies have been conducted to determine 100% safe. If you do decide to paint, avoid oil paints and solvents, in addition to ethylene glycol ethers and biocides. Paint with the windows open and maybe even a fan. Limit your duration of exposure and drink lots of water!
