A member asked:

Am 20 weeks pregnant, had my quad test negative, 1 in 130 for ds, but had echogenic bowels and eif in the heart in the us, what's my baby's risk to have ds?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your OB doc: Should be have already discussed that with you and tell you or you really should be seeing a perinatologist who is a high risk specialist because 1 in 130 for downs is a highly elevated risk esp at your age of 31 besides the other findings, the perinatologist should be able to give u a good estimate and you will probably need one of the new blood tests like harmony or a genetic amnio.
