What is lungs opacificification?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Descriptive term: This is a term used to describe the lung fields on an x-ray that show little change in degree of density between normally dense areas like heart and bones and the lungs.Dense areas like bone show up white, if the lung areas that are supposed to be filled with air show up white instead of dark, it implys that the lung tissue is filled with dense material like water making it opaque., .
