Probably...: It is probably okay nutritionally, but we want kids at this age to start using their chewing and biting skills. See if you can broaden her textures by taking table foods and breaking them down in a blender or food processor. Then slowly move her closer and closer to table food consistency. If she resists all of your efforts then i would consult a speech or occupational therapist who can help.

Start finger foods: Your baby will want to start trying new tastes and textures. She will also want to feed herself. This is a great way for her to learn how to pick up small pieces of food, make choices about what she likes, and be able to eat with the family. Start offering small bits of soft foods or little finger foods. Cheerios, cooked veggies, and small crackers are good to try. See how she does with these.
